    • Gifts and fundraising - Fundraising and receiving tax-deductible gifts are activities of major importance to the NFP sector. Many NFP organisations rely on the generosity of supporters for some or all of their funding. To help them raise funds and continue their valuable work, this video would explain how to obtain deductible gift recipient (DGR) status, what tax deductions their supporters can claim, and where to find information about state, territory and local government fundraising requirements.
    • Handing over to a new administrator - NFP organisations experience regular turnover of their administrators, for example treasurers and office bearers. This video would assist with handovers between outgoing and incoming administrators. It would outline issues such as updating details with agencies (including the ATO) checking tax concessions the organisation is accessing and ensuring relevant records are handed over to the new administrator. The video would refer to the new checklist the ATO has recently developed in consultation with the NFP sector to help them with the handover process.
    • Your workers - This video would help NFP organisations with what they need to understand/do for their workers – for example, they need to determine the correct status of their workers (as employees, contractors or volunteers), pay as you go withholding (PAYG), superannuation, salary sacrifice arrangements, and whether they are entitled to access specific fringe benefits tax (FBT) exemptions and rebates that are available to certain types of NFP organisations.
